The theme is Georgian Regency –1740—1850
In March 1767 ------- Mrs. Lybbe Powys wrote “ went to see the Queens Palace –every room was full of roses, carnations , hyacinths, etc. dispersed in the prettiest manner imaginable in Jars and different flower pots" ------

Demonstration and Introduction to the Term by Barbara Evans
Natural and Haphazard, Flowers in Containers including a Pyramid Mound
2nd February
Practical --- Flowers in Containers in a natural and Haphazard way.
16th February
Demonstration by Donna Cieslik ----- Flowers in a basket for the Mantelshelf or Fire Place . + Cake & Goods Stall
1st March
Practical ---- A Regency Style arrangement of your own choice

Workshop --- led by Trish Payne and Barbara Evans. "Come Dine with me the Georgian Way".
The aim --- to create a range of different Georgian Table arrangements.

Demonstration and Introduction to the Victorian Term by Donna Cieslik of Two Tier Arrangements influenced by the Victorian Era.

Practical ------ Two Tier Arrangement. (Your own interpretation but influenced from the demonstration by Donna)

Workshop with Trish. To make a piece of Jewellery in Fabric.

Floral Demonstration of Victorian Style Baskets by Guest Demonstrator: Felicity Cooksey.

12th July --- OUR ANNUAL EVENT EVERYONE WELCOME
Our Guest demonstrator is Jane Pugh from Bishops Castle.
The title of her demonstration is "Through The Ages". Flower arrangements influenced by the Georgian Regency, Victorian and Edwardian eras.
Venue:- Cross Houses Community Centre (see here for venue details).
There will be a home-made cake stall and raffle "on the night".

Demonstration by Debbie ----- Flower arranging the Art Deco way.
20th September
Practical ---- Art Deco Style Arrangement
1st October (SATURDAY MORNING)
Open Morning Workshop for anyone interested in creating an arrangement from the Art Deco era. Our Guest Tutor is Ros Anwyl. The workshop will be at Cross Houses Community Hall (see here for venue details). --- The cost is £10 per person limited to maximum of 20 places, (first come first served). 9am for a prompt 9.30 start, finishing around 12 midday.
4th October
AGM Followed by a demonstration by Barbara --- In The Style of Art Nouveau
18th October
Practical ----- In The Style of Art Nouveau
1st November 7pm START
Workshop led by Trish Payne & Barbara Evans ----- A Floral Magical Mystery Tour.
Trish & Barbara will be purchasing the flowers and containers to use.
All you will need to bring is floral foam, small amount of filler foliage and usual tools.
The flowers and containers will be provided free of charge to club members.
Vistors fee for the evening --- £12 (£5 visitor fee + £7 for materials)
15th November 7pm START
Workshop led by Trish Payne & Barbara Evans -- "Christmas Come Early"
Trish & Barbara will be purchasing flowers and containers. We will also be using the bottle holder. For those who do not have the bottle holder or require more there will be some available to purchase. Further information reference containers and approximate cost to follow. All you will need to bring is floral foam, small amount of small filler foliage and usual tools.

Christmas Bring and Share plus Club Competition. Subject for Competition --- A kissing Bough. (Competition pieces to be brought in ready done). The Competition will be judged by Trevor Mainwaring. Refreshments - Everyone
Home-made Christmas Cake will also be raffled. Tickets £1 each.
